Agrigento old town, Sicily
Book your stay above the sea
Your own apartment on Via Giuseppe Garibaldi, right in the heart of the old town. It's extremely bright and very quiet, and it looks out over the sea towards San Leone. At night you can see the temples lit up from the balcony.
Pick a room to see just that space, or browse the whole apartment. Tap any photo to see it full size.
Bright, white rooms, old terrazzo floors, and the sea at the end of the living room. About 120 m² with 3-metre (10 ft) ceilings: two bedrooms, an office that doubles as a third, and two sofa beds in the living room. Sleeps up to 8.
The biggest room in the apartment, and the one with the view. It's full of light all day, and the glass doors open straight onto the balcony, looking over the sea towards San Leone. At night you can see the temples lit up.
Newly fitted and big enough for more than one cook, with wooden worktops on three sides under a wall of patterned tiles.
Off the living room, looking over the sea towards San Leone. A table for two and a bar-height counter along the railing: coffee in the morning, wine at sunset, and at night the lights of the coast and the temples.
Next to the living room. A double bed facing a wide window that opens onto the coast and the sea, full of morning light.
Calm, white and bright, with a big window looking down over the coast to the sea, and plenty of space for clothes.
A bright little room for working from the apartment, with a desk under a wall of prints. The sofa bed turns it into a third bedroom when you need one.
A bright bathroom with sea-green tiles and a frosted window, so there's daylight and fresh air without being overlooked. The glass shower cubicle sits beside a pedestal basin, with a toilet and a bidet, as in most Italian homes.
The light arrives early. Roll out the mat, take a deep breath and sit still or stretch before your day begins.
On Via Giuseppe Garibaldi, a few minutes' walk from Via Atenea, with the beaches and the Valley of the Temples close by.

The old main road of the Arab-founded quarter, right outside.

The evening ritual and the best bars, most evenings from 6pm.

Agrigento's own beach, boardwalk and beach clubs.

Five temples and a garden, the reason most visitors come.
