Realmonte's main town beach, tucked into the Bay of Capo Rossello beneath a red-tinted limestone headland and its lighthouse. The bay actually holds two beaches side by side: one small, sandy, and well-equipped with beach clubs and kiosks (busy in high season), the other wilder and quieter just beyond the headland, with views straight along the coast to Scala dei Turchi.
Offshore, a rock formation called Scoglio Gucciarda breaks the surface, known locally as "u' scogliu do zito e a zita," the rock of the bride and groom, after a local legend that it rose from the sea after two lovers vanished beneath the waves.
