A secluded, WWF-managed nature reserve beach backed by pale cliffs, consistently rated among the cleanest and least developed stretches of coast near Agrigento. The reserve protects both the beach and the dune and cliff habitat behind it, home to nesting loggerhead turtles in season.
The last stretch of road in is unpaved, an SUV helps, or plan for a short walk from where the paved road ends. There are no beach clubs or facilities inside the reserve itself.
